Volunteer hours this year earn free membership for next year's festival:
--24-35 hours = Crew Membership
--36-59 hours = Best Girl/Boy Membership
--60+ hours = Assistant Director Membership

Opening for Long-Term Development Volunteer or Intern

Outfest is looking for individuals to work consistently with our Development Department. Development is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and makes our programs possible. We cultivate new and existing members, staff events and work year round in the office with membership fulfillment.

We are seeking 2 dedicated individuals to volunteer, or if qualified, to serve as interns for school credit, on an ongoing weekly or monthly basis.

Volunteer Projects:

• Data entry and database management
• Assistance with registration and VIP guest services at events
• Assistance with mail, email and social network campaigns
• Fulfillment of membership benefits
• Research and outreach efforts to help build the Outfest community

We are looking for enthusiastic people to be part of our team for the rest of 2011, with the potential to become more involved in 2012.

Interested candidates should be able to commit to approximately 2 hours a week or 8 hours a month. Scheduling is flexible.

Accrued volunteer hours can be applied to an Outfest membership, which includes great membership benefits and invitations to special Outfest events throughout the year.
